Numbers 22:9-11

⁹ God came to Balaam and said, “Who are these men with you?” ¹⁰ Balaam said to God, “Balak, the son of Zippor, the king of Moab, sent for me, saying, ¹¹ ‘Behold, a people has come out of Egypt who now covers the face of the earth. Now come and curse them for me. Perhaps I will be able to defeat them and drive them away.’ ”
